I know there are a number of Dopers who have participated in Thing-a-Day in the past. (Thing-a-Day is “creative sprint to make one new thing a day and post it to a collective blog space.”) It was always a HUGE amount of fun to see and hear what everyone was creating, and the range of things was enormous – from art to poetry to music to gadgetry.
Alas, the organizers of Thing-a-Day have decided to bring it to an end, but a past TAD-er has set up a Google+ community to keep it going.
If you’re at all interested, I urge you to join and take part! It’s a no-pressure affair. While the goal is to post every day (and spend no more than an hour making your daily “thing”), no one is keeping track. There’s no prize for posting every day – just personal satisfaction and the enjoyment of seeing the work of others.
