I appear to be having a run of bad luck at the moment…there is some 24 hour gastric bug going around work. Guess who got it. Guess who puked for almost 2 days. Niiiice.

Not much to tell. We’ve been dating for four years now, and living in sin (and against the laws of the Old Dominion) for three. But since her divorce is now final, well, why not? Yeah, diamonds are nice, but my favorite stones are emeralds and sapphires. Emeralds hold the number one spot in my heart. Conveniently, they’re my birthstone too.
So, I guess in my rambling way, what I’m trying to say is that it’s cool that your honey isn’t going with “the usual”.
I don’t feel like working anymore. I’ve been working on a very large spreadsheet, breaking down the data and moving it to other tabs, only to find out the source data is erroneous. Nearly a day’s work wasted…just wasted.

ACBG and I had a wonderful dip in the pool and some pizza and beer. He’s gone now cause he has some paperwork to catch up on but we had fun. The pizza was one of those Moma’s U Bake pizzas that can be picked up and brought home to bake in the oven. Sooooooooo good! I ordered it and picked it up cause it’s on my way home. I baked the pizza, ACBG came over, we ate it and drank a couple beers, then went and had a dip in the pool. It was a clothing alternative dip.

Got home just before 10:30 tonight; left around 7:20 a.m. Long day, but then end of it was fun because I went out to dinner and then went to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. It was a really fun production of it; very energetic. We were in the front row, so we could see a little of the technical stuff. And the sound…well, it was definitely there. Quite loud.
Hoping I can actually catch up on the MMP in the morning…

We are having a little celebration here at work. Actually, it doesn’t take much for there to be a little celebration so they can break out the beer.
Tomorrow Mr. Anachi and I are meeting BarbeeDoll[sup]TM[/sup] and her hubby around the corner at the dog track club house for a little Derby action. We will probably go back to our house before the race so we can watch it in high def. That will be fun. I need to figure out which horse to bet on.

Measuring Man has come and gone. He got lost twice on the way to the house. Maybe that’s what made him so grouchy. He was quite put out that the new cabinets weren’t in as yet (as if the ones here would be the new ones–there are drawers missing, hinges off etc).
Told him that the store told me that it didn’t matter when the measurements were made OR that when the floor was installed (before new cabinets or after).
He didn’t thaw. Whatever. :rolleyes:

I’m all sinusy today so I find some amusement in the google ads being about nasal sprays and such. It’s also cloudy and is supposed to rain. All weekend. Of course. We need the rain but, dangit, I want to play in the pool all day tomorrow! :: POUT ::
In other news, we have these brand new neato digital thermostats at work. The one in my building works fine. The ones in the front building don’t, so the AC ain’t workin’ up there. Bitchiness abounds up there. Glad I’m back here where it’s all nice and cool.

I can’t believe I forgot to take my meds this morning. They can wait, but it’s the first time that’s happened. Weird.
Since I started treatment for HepC on Mar. 3, I’ve lost 9 pounds. Woo-hoo! A few more weeks at this rate and I’ll be under 200. I’m at 208, now.
Good morning everyone. Today is Friday. But today is not an ordinary Friday. Today will be one of those Fridays with a crash landing at the end. Today I need to do the following things, in no particular order:
- Sell some textbooks back to the school
- Finish my undergraduate thesis
- Take a bus home, although I don’t know yet at what time I’ll be doing this
- Pack roughly half of the possessions in my dorm room
- Go to the ID Desk in the Union and put some money on my RAD (Rensselaer Advantage Dollars Account) so I can have some money to do laundry.
- Do laundry. A LOT of laundry. Have I mentioned I loathe doing laundry?
Oh yeah, and eat food in there somewhere as well. I’ve been thinking of cutting back on that. It’s gotten to the point where I’m eating several times each day. I know, right? It’s becoming an expensive habit and I need to cut down.
Dolores, I know you mean well, but “kool kids”? Next thing you know we’ll be the “kooky kool kids,” and that’s just asking for trouble.

We definitely need to do this. When Mika and I last hung out, we decided on something after May 8, to fit her schedule. Monday and Thursday work for me that week, and I’ll be around on Saturday as well.
Happy Friday! We just got our census forms, and Driving Husband says now is not the time to let them know about the mutiple Husbands system. There aren’t enough spots for listing spouses anyway.
Today I should run around and pick some small things up, then clean the kitchen. Whee!
