I’ve churched, lunched, dishwashed and napped. All in all a productive day. 
I, uh, heathenated. Now we’re considering ice cream.
This is the first free weekend that TVMan and I have had and we’re thoroughly enjoying it.
Buns, unheathened is the way to go, I’ve been uneheathenated for years and I’ve had so much fun…can’t beat it. OK, so I go to music festivals in strange counties where I don’t speak a word of the language and have all sorts of fun trying to find my way around, but that’s just me. If the devil has the best music, just lead me to the boiler room’s door!
When I was a kid my parents said that Shrinky-Dinks were a complete waste of money, so we never had them. But then I was at the Christmas Tree Shop just before Thanksgiving, and they had wee little kits of them to make ornaments for a $1 each. And that’s how we finally got to try Shrinky-Dinks at the ripe old ages of 26 & 32. Turns out you can buy film to print with your ink-jet printer too, so we got that as well to further annoy our folks at Christmas 
We never had Shrinky Dinks either! Maybe I should buy some.
I’ve had a busy weekend! Errands with Dad on Friday, laundry all weekend, mani/pedi yesterday, to the cleaners, to the grocery store (where I saved $50!!!) and of course, the dog park.

We ran out for a burger, and I’ve assumed the knitting position. That pretty much sums it up.

Yay for Dipsey Rebo! I say at this point he has now officially adopted y’all.
Right now it is 91 degrees Amurrkin with a heat index of 106. We are under a DANGEROUS HEAT ADVISORY through tomorrow. However it’s thunderatin’ out right now. I hope that means some rain. Maybe I should turn the sprinkler on to hasten the rain.
I have a headache the size of Alaska. Ow.
Loved Shrinky Dinks! I wish I could find clear prescription bottles, though. We used to put colorful beads in them, put them in the oven and let them melt, then put a hole in them and use them for necklaces. So pretty. All we have here is this amber crap.

I have been busy today. Took something back to Target, dropped my coveralls off at the cleaners for my work trip in a week, grocery shopped, scrubbed two bathrooms top to bottom, scrubbed the kitchen, vacuumed whole house, dusted and changed the litter box. Hubby had to go to work this AM but he is now painting the skirting boards in our bedroom. Productive weekend this weekend.
Sides to go with the turkey that I have marinating are fresh, sweet, white corn as it was on sale for 6 for $1.00 today and ‘Mamaw’s Greenbeans’ which are a secret family recipie that I was allowed to have when I married into it. That and the potato salad recipie. Yummy! :D:D
I’ve been a good girl and weeded up a storm. Didn’t quite make it to cleaning the shower doors as planned. Also went for a nice long walk. About to throw some clothes in the washer. Quite exciting.
Dinner was hummus left over from brunch. Yummy.
Off to continue being productive.
