MAY 14 IS MY LAST DAY of being a guest…expect not to see me for about 2 weeks and then I will come back bigger and better than ever…if anyone cares.
“Flag” football is a tamer and gentler version of our American football. Instead of piling on the poor sob carrying the ball, though, the players try to tug a flag, which is tucked into the waistband, out.
American football (as opposed to the “Association Football” game USA folks call soccer) variant in which each player wears a little flag on the back of his/her pants. Instead of tackling the ballcarrier to bring him/her down, you only have to pull on and remove the flag to stop the play. Here is a site with more information and a few pictures.
