Thinking outside of the box - Trump

And to add to that, the political situation in the US right now couldn’t be more wrong either. You have a large body of people who are so blindly faithful to Trump that they are quite prepared to believe that the election was stolen despite a complete lack of evidence, simply because Trump pretty much openly lied to that effect.

If you gave him the trappings of monarchy, you couldn’t set him up any better to declare himself monarch for life and start acting like a dictator if you tried.

The Trumpman Show

So, like King Ralph?

As with most comparisons to “bad” leaders in fiction (See also “President Camacho”), we’d actually have been better off if Trump had only been as bad as those “bad leaders”.

King Ralph made mistakes because he was unqualified for a job that was given to him by surprise. But when he realized how badly he screwed up, he figured out not only how to fix it, but also how to pass the job along to someone more qualified to do it properly. Can you imagine Trump ever doing that?

We don’t need to imagine what would happen, actually, since we all lived it. Trump screwed up every goddamn day, refused to listen to anyone else, insisted he was the Best “president” Ever, had to be dragged kicking and screaming out of office, and still insists that he’s the “Real president”.

Yes, yes, of course that is all true.

The point of the discussion and exercise is to propose a “solution” using ju-jitsu principals. As in this wikipedia description: " “Jujutsu” thus has the meaning of “yielding-art”, as its core philosophy is to manipulate the opponent’s force against him- or herself rather than confronting it with one’s own force."

Yes I understand that but my point is this jujitsu wouldn’t work. All it would do is yield to Trump a situation which would make him more powerful than he is already.
