Sorry. Not impressed by much in this thread except that it now has three New Zealanders on it. If only someone would get a hold of Rabid Squirell it would be truly the stuff of legends.

Kiwi, that’s that green, fuzzy fruit, right? I knew a guy once who would eat those without peeling them – just bite right into the fuzz.
Yuck.
Also, a guy I know now has a whole bunch of them growing in his backyard. This is in Bellingham, Washington (USA) – which I thought was weird because they look like they should be tropical.
Except they aren’t. Tropical, that is. They grow in temperate climates.
Oh, I just remembered. Once, we ordered ‘Chinese Gooseberries’ as dessert at a really fancy restaurant. They brought us sliced Kiwi fruit – but we’d never seen it before, so they totally fooled us. That was in Seattle, at Trader Vic’s, about 25 years ago.
Another New Zealander here although tragically in exile.
I just wanted to pop in and tell our newest and obviously most impertinent member that taking the name that he has is like calling himself God. One does not do that lightly, so simply by doing so he has proven himself legendary and is therefore worthy enough to have me post in his thread.
