I am hard pressed to think of anytime anything worthwhile has come out of FOX News.
Well, Andy Levy managed it (see below…2 minutes long).
Give this guy a raise FOX!

A friend just sent this to me and I was conflicted. Oh, how I hate Fox News. . . but how I hate Chris Brown.
Props. That was brilliantly executed. The final punchline was a killer.
Amen sister…
How dare someone rebuke a monumental, if misunderstood musical genius like Chris Brown!!!
The young, upstanding gentleman has suffered enough—Afterall, he fully paid for his little misjudgment by picking up trash for over 4 FULL HOURS one day, and he was only allowed to Tweet about this courageous, selfless act of public service six times during that grueling afternoon of relentless (and quite frankly, probably racially motivated) punishment.
The other night, I was hanging out with a bunch of friends when a promo for the MTV VMAs came on that said something about Chris Brown performing. A girl who was a friend of a friend started screaming with glee. I looked at her like this :dubious: and she said, “What? He’s SOOOOOOOOOOO sexy. I LOVE ME SOME BREEZY!”
To which I said: “You better be careful with Chris Brown girl,” joking, but you know.
“Na,” she said, “I don’t get why more people don’t talk about how she had a major hand in what went down. Like, if it weren’t for her and her attitude, it would have never happened.”
Wait, Chris Brown is still famous? I thought he faded into obscurity after that stuff. This is the first I’ve heard about him in ages.
His 2009 album was #1 on the Bilboard US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album Chart. His current album was #1 on the Bilboard Top 200 Chart and is certified gold. His latest single “Look At Me Now” is all over the radio and was a #1 song for 8 weeks.
The point is: he’s still selling quite a bit. The thing about it is that the guy is incredibly talented- a great dancer, great singer. But yeah, any time I start nodding my head to one of his songs. . . I remember that leaked photo of Rihanna’s face.
Shit. I’m officially old. I thought I still had a reasonable sense of pop culture, but I have to admit, I have no fucking clue who Chris Brown is. When did this happen? That “Yeah x3” song sounds familiar, though.
Unless you’re particularly fond of pop or RnB/hip hop commercial radio, it’s not particularly shocking that you don’t know who he is. Don’t feel bad, pulykamell. Forever is a song of his that you may have heard, because it was the soundtrack of that really popular viral wedding video. Beyond that song, though? Yeah, none too familiar for someone who isn’t an RnB fan.
Ah, I certainly have seen that video. I go to around 30 weddings a year (I’m in the industry), so that’s why I’m somewhat surprised I don’t recognize his music–that sort of stuff usually makes the playlist. Then again, the first time I heard Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy Back” at a wedding about five years ago, I thought it was a chick singing. (The weird thing is, now that I look it up on YouTube, all the versions I can find are pretty obviously a guy singing. Is there a sped up mix or something that sounds more female?)
Hmm. I don’t know- the part in SexyBack (is it the bridge? I don’t know music stuff) where he says “Dirty babe. You see these shackles? Baby, I’m your slave. I’ll let you whip me if I misbehave. It’s just that no one makes me feel this way,”-- that’s in his higher singing voice and I could see where one would think that was a woman without listening too closely. **Add on edit: ** I just listened to Sexyback on Youtube and I forgot that they literally say “take me to the bridge” right before the above quoted part. So, yes, I believe that is, in fact, the bridge. heh
As far as Chris Brown’s songs that are possibly played at weddings (well, receptions), those would probably include: Kiss Kiss, Wall to Wall, I Can Transform Ya, Run It, and the previously mentioned Yeah X 3.
Some of the linked songs are from before the beating, but a handful are from after. Either way, the kid is pretty popular despite what he did, which is definitely kind of shocking.
Yeah, maybe it’s just hearing it on the dancefloor. Because listening it on YouTube, they all sound obviously male to me.
The songs actually sound pretty reasonable to me. “Yeah x3” is the only one I definitely recognize. But now I know who y’all are talking about. Rihanna, beating, Chris Brown, now I remember.
I must concur, this clip was awesome and Bosstone is absolutely correct, the punchline is the perfect ending.
That was beautiful.
I guess I’m just getting old. At least, too old to pay attention to popular musicians or genres I never really liked.
And I agree this was awesome.
Had no idea who Chris Brown was until this thread, but agree that clip is full of win.
Moved MPSIMS --> Cafe Society
I love it.
I don’t know who Chris Brown is, but that was damn funny.
