I think this is a great public service. The next time you are talking to someone who has never done drugs, you can simply show them this and say “That ‘is this really happening’ feeling you have right now? Yeah, that’s what drugs are like. Kinda.”

I couldn’t have said it better myself.
But I actually got a huge kick out of it. It was so over the top ridiculous, it was a riot! And I do believe it’s the real deal. If it were, it would have to be some stellar, “I work for Industrial Light and Magic by day, and alter David Hasselhoff videos by night” guy’s work, because I can’t see a single sign of manipulation beyond the cheesy greenscreen effects. And, well, David Hasselhoff has his reputation of cheesiness for a reason.
Oh no, this is as real as real gets. 
When I first saw this I kept wishing during the part on the ship that some giant tentacled beast would come up out of the water and drag him under.

You do realise that the song ‘Hooked on a feeling’ was done by Jonathan King in 1971(according to my Guinness book of hit singles) don’t you ?
I’ve absolutely no idea why you would connect ‘Wild World’ with that Hasselhof video.
The article refers to King accusing the Pet SHop Boys of lifting the tune for It’s A Sin from Wild World… I disagree though, and think that It’s A Sin does sound quite a bit like Wild World.
