This must have been a prank

While at the school parking lot, I saw a car with peculiar adornments- it had several pieces of paper, saying stuff like “BUSH IS GRATE” in all their misspelled glory taped to the trunk of the car. The messages looked printed out of a inkjet printer, and taped on with wide clear packing tape.

Now it is perfectly possible this could have been the driver’s doing, but given the circumstances and the political climate on campus I couldn’t help but imagine that it was done by someone else, and when I came back to the lot to leave I’d see that same car upside down and on fire. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh well, guess I’ll check the campus police blotter this friday and see if there were any interesting reports of vandalism in the parking lot… :stuck_out_tongue:

I have been known to slap a “I (heart) MAC OS” bumper sticker on a co-worker’s car before. You find humor in there when you find out the guy was a hard core Windows NT guy that thought MACs were satan and anyone buying them were nuts. In fact the guy thought that about all Unix based systems as well.

Where do you get an ‘I (heart) Mac OS’ bumper sticker?

(I really want a shirt with a big target on it and the word 'American; in Arabic. My graphics guy refused to make me one. He said someone had to be the adult in the relationship.)

A few years ago as we were driving home, we passed a house upon whose white garage door had been painted in huge black letters, “FUCK YOU TOM.”

We still call it the “Fuck You Tom house.” Our guess is pissed-off (ex?) girlfriend. There was just a certain rage about it.

Scarlett–perhaps somebody was trying to leave a note for his mistress and ran out of garage door before he could finish “Tomorrow”?

I’m sure you’re right that that is a prank, but some people get pretty creative with how they put a political message on their own cars. One time I saw a car here that had all along the rear bumper, in 3" high peel-and-stick letters, “STROM THURMONDS THE BEST SENATOR.”

My favourite ex girlfriend’s revenge graffiti was the one painted in foot high letters on a front wall which read “Boyfriend’s Name lives a lie.” Infidelity’s a risky lifestyle choice.

Make one yourself. Cafepress.com is your friend
