Seriously.
My average error was 5.2 for the first try.
But I got ripped off, because the mouse slipped on the line convergence, leaving me off by 13.4 units.
I think I did pretty good. I used to work at a sign company, and we did a lot of work just based on visual estimates.
Oops, I didn’t realize it had you go through three times. Final score, including that screw up, is 4.3
I’m impressed. My average was 18.9.
Still, very cool.
I’ve done it like 12,438 times, trying to beat my friend’s 2.6. Not doing so well. But now I’m a pathetic game junkie with no future. Feel bad for me.
10.57. That’s much harder than it looks at first.
I got a 7.58 overall, but I got much better at it as I went along - I did the convergence one perfectly on my third try, and my score on the third go-through was about 4.7.
Yay! For the first time ever, I don’t suck at these little online games!
The circle is the hardest. Maddening. It’s like an illusion.
Didn’t we do this already?
8.86
Can we leave this thread open for those who missed the first go-round?
5.63. That was fun!
I’m sorry, but homework doesn’t rock.
I got a 4.05.
I wonder, though… The “bisect the angle”, “point equidistant from the sides” (which is really just “bisect the angle” again) and “make a right angle” ones will depend on screen settings (pixels don’t always have the same aspect ratio). Do they correct for that?
3 tries, best I did was 6.1 on my first try
Your inaccuracy by category:
Parallelogram 4.5 5.8 3.6
Midpoint 1.4 1.4 1.0
Bisect angle 5.8 6.3 1.2
Triangle center 4.8 4.9 6.0
Circle center 4.1 0.0 3.6
Right angle 0.8 0.3 1.0
Convergence 2.0 0.0 3.0
Average error: 2.93
I suck at finding the center of a triangle!
After three tries, my best average is 3.90. I found that I actually did better when I spent less time actually “eyeballing” the positions. My initial positioning was usually the closest, and I just wound up farther off target if I thought about it too hard.
My best performance was on “bisect angle” and “circle center” – on those I was generally within 1 unit or so, and sometimes even less. By contrast the parallelograms repeatedly kick my ass.
Lobsang, I don’t think it’s possible for something to be homework if it has a high score table.
That’s the one I did best at! 5.36 here.
One attempt - 4.80
Pretty cool idea here.

3.94, first (and only) try. I thought that was pretty bad until I saw the score distribution, not to mention the numbers being posted by all of you losers.
