I used to play the old version a long time ago. The pictures of the new game make it look very bright and cartoonish. How does it hold up to the older games?
It’s sure nice to look at and the in-depth careers are more realistic than in 3. For example: rather than a private detective searching trash for clues to crimes that would not be out of place in an Encyclopedia Brown story, your character is an actual cop who does actual police work.
I miss not being able to seamlessly explore towns.
I never saw a compelling reason to upgrade from Sims 3, so I still play that one. Great game.
