I am really surprised that I’m the only one who thinks the Pleonast thing is a big deal, but it seems pretty obvious now that I am. I think I’ve said everything I’m going to say about it in terms of what seems anti-town about it. If holding that position is scummy to you, Normal, I guess that’s OK with me.
Still, I don’t want to die particularly, and a one-man strong arm effort isn’t worth much, so I’ll be reconsidering my vote once I figure out something else to do with it. The people have spoken and I am dropping it.

Ok, let me see if I can make some sense of what is going on before I go to work today… Here is the final voting of day 1.
I don’t believe Astral Rejection is scum, due to his little mind hickup, so I’m giving him town cred. I also don’t believe Pleonast is scum, because even though his little multivoting is confusing, and scummy, (specially for someone new to the game), I don’t think it is something scum would do to bring attention to himself.
Ok, now that I know who I’m not voting for, I need to figure out who I am voting for… I agree with the hypothesis that one of the voters on glowacks was probably scum, I don’t think it is Giraffe for the sole reason he did the math, if it truly was a pro-scum idea, and he is scum, he would have just not posted the math.
Normal Phase’s activity at the end of the day, and his unneeded vote on Glo seems scummy, but, it was Easter Weekend. I know how busy everyone was. So, I’m going to give him a pass on it.
That leaves Red Skeezix and Special Ed, I didn’t like Ed’s posts that didn’t make sense, and he voted on Glo for a weak reason, while being the one that tilted the scales towards Glo’s lynching… So, for now,

I’m not sure what I think about Pleo, but it’s worth noting that in Glasnost Mafia he drew attention to himself in pretty much precisely the same way while playing a Scum power role.
Basically, Pleo is more or less consistently a little “off” and does weird things. He does bug me sometimes, but his oddness is usually a null tell. He has multi-voted before knowing they will not count. I’m assuming he has done so as scum and town.

Why does it just leave them? I notice you didn’t discuss me, Stickler, or Tom Scud. I find it disconcerting when someone has zero suspicions of me or has mentally scratched off other players without comment.

Anti-town is not scummy by definition, that’s the problem, and you’re trying to make it as if it is. I suspect Pleonast for two reasons:
– “look how townie I am”, and
– his comments about me this “morning”
There may or may not be more once I’ve gone over his posts as a total. But it’s nothing to do with how “anti-town” his oddities are. That’s a cop-out – it works whether Pleo is mafia or not. I want to know if you think he is scummy.

I said I wasn’t going to get involved in the pleo thing and yet here I am, about to jump in the fray but on the opposite side that I’m usually on, I think. (I can never remember which side I come down on with important issues. Toilet paper over or under, I don’t freakin’ know.)
I don’t see Pleonast as making this ploy. I haven’t seen any evidence that he’s trying to bury ‘real’ votes in a flurry of fake ones. He’s just a really big fan of multivoting. ([OOG]As far as making fluid the arbiter of which votes are real, well I, for one, am very well aware of Pleo’s view that once the game begins, the moderator should not make any decisions about game mechanics and only exists as an impartial mediator to enforce rules and send out PMs. I am not surprised to see him, town or scum, attempt to upset the applecart mechanicswise to make his point.[OOG]) However, it seems to me that Pleo has been relatively clear and concise about his intentions here and Jimmy is likewise adamant that they are anti-town, I do not see the evidence for that. I sense some spinning or motives here.
