For the sake of those new to the game, the rationale:

  • It is possible that we are at Lynch or Lose, which is to say, if we choose the wrong person to lynch, we lose.
  • If that is the case, then if the scum can guarantee a lynch of a Town player, it doesn’t matter if they expose their scumminess.
  • Therefore, if the Town votes are split between multiple candidates, and at least one of the candidates is Town, the scum will be able to shift at the last minute and pick the Town player to lynch.
  • Therefore, everyone needs to vote for a single candidate.

So, Hirka, Normal, Pleo, Jimmy, and Red, please pile aboard the train. Inner, if we’re wrong, sorry.

I still don’t like Red, and if we weren’t changing our votes, I would keep voting for him. My 2nd choice is for Ed.. Both of them just have seemed scummy to me, partly due to the fact they both voted for the town lynches.

As far as the day two votes. I voted giraffe because he was already in the lead and the lateness of my vote meant that it would have minimal effect based on what I’d skimmed from the day.

Going into today, my main suspicion was on Astral for reasons I pointed out on day one, which were then weakened by glowacks being town, and for appearing twice on town lynches (which I’m also guilty of) that I suspect scum involvement in. His appearance outshines Ed’s yesterday since ed has the self-protect vote justification.
It wasn’t enough for a vote earlier + him being a claimed mason means he’s off the radar for now.

Right now I’m thinking Hirka more likely to be scum, based on his jumping out with reasoning that is trumped up to the point of inaccuracy to vote for me. The logic just doesn’t read as town to me.

Secondly, and it’s kind of circular, but I’m suspicious of Ed. The death of fubbleskag finds a a plausible explanation in my mind that fubbleskag had the possibility of reaping a whole lot of town credit if ed was to end up dead and scum, since he brought ed to the brink of being lynched. So, while it is wifomy, it’s on my mind.

But I’ll follow the mason lead. Also, if we are at lylo (which means 4 scum) and all the people in blue above are actually town, then from where I stand it’s 80% chance of scum lynch whoever I vote for.

I had the impression that your entire reason for suspecting Astral on day one was due to the potential for glowacks being scum. You mentioned you didn’t like that one post, and it might have been intended to start a vote shift away from glowacks.

For now? Do you really think they’re lying? Tom’s a godfather and Astral’s a goon; and Astral managed to vote for someone they’d just killed; and they decided to claim for kicks and giggles when neither was under even a smidgeon of pressure? For what purpose?

This is my major issue with you, and why I’m ignoring any pings there might actually be from Zeriel right now – Hirka’s vote was not trumped up. It was not strictly accurate, in that your vote was not last second and someone (now known to be town) voted behind you. But the gist of what he said his objection was (that you voted late on the vote leader, without explanation) was correct.

I suppose that makes it easy.
