Time for breakfast in the MMP

Dindin has been ingested. We have a lot of shrimpies left cause we both et big N.O.L.s. Fine by me cause we’ll have shrimpies and sallit for N.O.L. tomorrow.

Spidey that’s my kind of waiter.

ETA: First on Five! NEENER NEENER Spidey :stuck_out_tongue:

This morning I saw a sweet and funny little two reeler, Chess Fever, from 1925 Soviet Union. That was followed by Sergei Eisenstein’s Battleship Potemkin, a true classic. This afternoon I saw The Cohens and the Kellys, a family comedy that spawned several sequels. I missed on film, but later this evening I’ll see a Buster Keaton Comedy, and then the silent version of Beau Geste, starring Ronald Colman.

I didn’t get much done today.

Irk sent an email saying they were busy, but they weren’t.

I started my taxes and only a few pages in and I’m feeling crazy. I don’t understand the 1098-T, because the tuition for Spring 2016 was paid in 2015 and I don’t know if I’m supposed to subtract that out or leave it way it is printed on the form.
I also lost A Very Important Piece of Paper (AVIPP), in which I had gone through all my receipts and added up all my business expenses, his school expenses, and my medical expenses. This meant going through all my Amazon orders for the year, and my checking account statements for the year. I was sure I put it in with all the tax documents, but I can’t find it.

Spent part of the day too contacting catalog companies and asking them to remove me from their mailing list. The people who lived here before got them and it’s time to stop them. They go straight into the trash.

I also have to call to find out why I am getting People magazine. Even if I wanted a magazine, People would not be it. Especially when Kayne ::shudder:: and Kim ::double shudder:: are on the cover.
The only good thing in there is the page where you have to find the 10 differences between the two pictures.
Somehow, I have a subscription and it’s been paid for, but I have no idea how.

One quarter pounder-size pork patty, one piece fried chicken, a slice of ham, one link of blood pudding, three fried eggs, toast. Coffee and a shot of Aquavit.

You and 99% of the fish in Pennsylvania I’ve crossed paths with. :stuck_out_tongue:

Dinner was leftover pizza. Just feel yucky enough not to care much about what I ate but needed something.

My cashier called out sick*, so I was by myself tonight. If he’s sick tomorrow, I miss hockey. :frowning: But I made homemade roasted garlic and habenero salsa.

Sounds like a good breakfast.
*I feel kinda bad, Wednesday he told me he had a fever, and asked what he thought he should take. I said “More cowbell”

Four fried chickens and a Coke.

Doggio, did you see the hockey game tonight? I’ve never heard an NHL game countdown to “the half” before!

Up, caffeinated, sheveled… Off to work.

No, I was working.

blurf

Up, more or less awake. We’re promised a spring-like day and I’m hoping we can clean the big branches that have fallen in the yard. Later. When it warms. At the moment it’s still below freezing.

Once my sweetie gets up, we’ll shower and go to breakfast. Meanwhile, I have me-time on the 'puter! OK, I have me-time every day, but today, it’s quiet me-time, which is nice.

Happy Sunday!!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 35 Amurrkin and clear out with a predicted high of 72 and sunny for the day. It’s a start the day with a jacket and take it off by noon kinda day!

Not to much excitatin’ goin’ on today. Deheathenization, deli sammiches (picked up some deli at the Pubic Sto’ yestiddy) and leftover shrimpies for N.O.L. and not much else. Sounds like a good plan to me.

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Purtification for deheathenization must commence at some point as well.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

It was so windy in the Colorado Rockies stadium that they switched directions in the middle of the third period to make it fairer. Wish I could’ve seen Friday’s Alumni game - 10 HoF’er’s played!
Plans for the day have already been changed. :frowning:

moooooooommmmm did you sleep well in new bed?

Up, barely. Tis chilly this morning. Not much on the agenda today. Just some laundry, housework, cooking and trying to get in a mindset of going back to irk tomorrow.

Happy Sunday!

It’s a beautiful day outside, sunny and warm.

I should do some outside irk today, but I don’t feel up to it.

I’ll log in to irk for a bit and try to finish my taxes - I found my very important piece of paper. At least I don’t have to go through all of that again.

I slept OK, but I think it’ll take a little while to get it all broke in proper. The store has a 120-day return policy, but they require you to sleep a minimum of 30 nights on the mattress before they’ll accept it back, so I’m guessing it’ll take that long for it to loosen up and conform to my sleep posture. It wasn’t a bad night, tho.

We have breakfasted, and shortly, we’ll be unloading a bunch of aluminum from the truck - **FCD **buys scrap from work at the recycle price. After the truck bed is empty, we’ll load it with trash and recycling. Woohoo!!

I’ve got ground beef and bananas (in separate bags) thawing for cookage later today. I’m going to make a batch of sketty sauce and several loaves of nanner bread. How domestical is that!!!

Thanks for the explanation, FCM; I was trying to figure what dish incorporates ground beef and bananas together (I imagine that there probably is one…)

Last weekend for indoor soccer, so I refereed 3 games yesterday, and will be doing three more today starting at noontime. Expect legs to tell me that was a foolish thing to do.

Interior termite inspection tomorrow, so I’m taking a couple hour off work. Might even be motivated to clean around the house.

Broke my fast this morning by nuking a frozen packet of Fettucini Alfredo and a Pepsi…it’s the end of the month, supplies are low, and I eats what I got left. Grocery shopping is on the list for Monday.

The escape room was very fun. Our group made it out in just over 43 minutes. We will definitely do something like that again. It’s a quiet morning around here so far. Husband and Son #3 have gone for a bike ride. Sons 1 and 2 are still sleeping. The cat has settled in for a nap in Husband’s bottom dresser drawer, which he left partway open.

Laundry and dishes are on the agenda for today. Dinner will be chicken, asparagus, and either rice or potatoes.

You too? I must admit to not following hockey as much these days as I did during the North Stars and pre-Mario-in-Pittsburgh days but some of this new stuff has me confused. I thought the out-door thing was one special game and not an entire series, the play offs are almost longer than the regular season, and they keep announcing “important times” and things I don’t understand.

I should have known it was all going to Hell when goalies started wearing masks.

The aluminum has been unloaded and the trash and recycling have been dispatched. I’ve got sheets on the line - it’s really nice here! Sunny, slight breeze, creeping closer to 60° - just loverly!

I’ve turned off the pellet stove in anticipation of cleaning it once it’s cooled down. It’s going to be a busy day here!

I’d intended to sleep later, but a certain pain-in-the-tail cat was getting fairly aggressive about the “get up and feed me” campaign, including walking around ON me. Oh well, I really should be up anyway, so I can go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight. DH has tomorrow off, so I get the car, and there’s decent parking at irk (which so far is not really irksome).

Today’s “fun”, once DH is up and functional, includes cashing in some recycling buildup.
