I got an email from my favorite work-shoe website today and everything was 50% off. I got Dansko Professional clogs for $65, and a pair of Vasque trail runners for $50. They should arrive Friday!

Costco trip: Cat litter (pregnant foster cat, about to give birth any day), Greek yogurt, batteries, orange juice, coffee beans, half & half, and a blueberry bush. This will be the year I don’t kill it.
Today I went on a newegg shopping spree. After carefully re-examining my budget for the year, I realized I was putting away well over an additional $1k per month than I had originally thought :smack:
So I tossed a good chunk into a bunch of computer upgrades that I don’t really need :smack::smack:
But man, is it gonna be faaaaassstttt

I bought The Essential Steve McQueen Collection on DVD, because one of the cretins here in Afghanistan with me has never seen a McQueen film. The set has Bullitt, The Getaway, The Cincinnati Kid, Papillon, Tom Horn, and Never So Few. I’ve never seen a couple of those myself, so I’m looking forward to getting it in the mail soon.
