Earlier today I looked out the window and got a lovely view of Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Sign.
I love Los Angeles so much sometimes, it makes my heart hurt.
PS- It is also nice here in Virginia… been so since the storms last Friday swept all the gunky air out to sea. It is so pleasant with no humidity windows wide open and an extra blanket last night.
It’s cold and rainy here today, and will be all week. But last weekend was beautiful. Perfect for a long holiday weekend, where I inaugurated the summer with a few saltwater ablutions.
In Massachusetts, we’re on the fourth day of an “atypical” (means “happens every year, lately”) June nor’easter that’s resulted in temperatures 20 degrees below average, high winds, inches of rain, and coastal flooding and it’s going to remain mostly cloudy until Friday. This, after a May in which we were consistently unable to put together more than two consecutive days of sunshine.
Massachusetts and I are at that stage in our relationship where we grunt at each other when we pass in the hallway in the morning.
