When the kids were little, I made a tape mix of based on counting:

“One Singular Sensation” from CHORUS LINE
“Tea for Two”
“Three Little Maids” from MIKADO
“I’m Henry the VIIIth I am”… etc

We got a double-hitter with “I am Sixteen going on Seventeen” from SOUND OF MUSIC.

We more or less got from 1 to 20 (with a little cheating). Then I tossed on some extra number songs, like:
“42nd Street”
“45 Minutes from Broadway”
“76 Trombones”
“A Hundred Miles” (If you miss the train I’m on…)

And of course we finished off with “A Hundred Million Miracles” from FLOWER DRUM SONG. Great tape, great fun.
