This is very true. I hate him as well, but when push comes to shove a goalie has to stop the puck. Roy stops the puck when he has to, except in game 7’s vs the Stars.
I have to take issue with this statement. The Butterfly was, more or less, invented by Tony Esposito. Espo revolutionized the goalie position at the begining of the mask era.
