Topics that haven't been covered on either Seinfeld or The Simpsons

Name a topic (come on, don’t be ridiculously specific) that hasn’t been covered, at least peripherally, on either The Simpsons or Seinfeld.

I’m hard pressed to come up with one.

The poor road conditions in Pennsylvania.

Uh-huh. In a Halloween special, the Simpsons are invited to Mr. Burns’ (who is a vampire) castle in…PENNSYLVANIA!!! (dramatic crash of thunder & lightning). Homer makes some kind of sarcastic comment about the roads as he’s driving up to Castle Burns (a takeoff from “Bram Stoker’s Dracula”.)

Well there is almost an entire Seinfeld episode devoted to poor road conditions.

Is it that difficult to grok the spirit of my OP?

I always thought they should have done a Simpsons episode where Marge leaves Homer and he becomes a Blue musician. I realize, of course, that Blues music has been a topic on the Simpsons, but I can’t recall an episode where Homer plays the Blues.

No topics have ever been covered by Seinfeld. Iit’s a show about nothing, remember?

But I doubt there’s been a show about the conversion of currencies to the Euro, what will happen in Cuba once Castro dies, the current crisis in beekeeping, George W. Bush pardoning Scooter Libby (maybe in the future, though), Paris Hilton (yet), or who put the bomp in the bomp da bomp da bomp.

Abortion?

SEINFELD had an episode in which Elaine dumps a hot boyfriend & inadvertently ruins Poppi’s restaurant business because the BF & Poppi are anti-abortion.

Seinfeld episode, The Couch, revolves around the topic of abortion.

This is a real crisis, I know, but it just sounds funny.

They haven’t discussed the possibility of using a giant dish to block out the sun.

OK, you’ve now officially used up the one allowable instance of that joke. Good show. No more.

Has either show dealt with earthquakes? I can’t recall any, but I bet Simpsons did it.

I can’t remember an Easter episode, but there must be one.

President Taft?

Margaret Thatcher?

Muslims?

Mr. Burns’ mother had an affair with Taft.

Smithers: Mr. Burns can’t stand talking to his mother. He never forgave her for having that affair with President Taft.
Homer: Heh, heh! Taft, you old dog!

Well, there was that episode where Homer came into possession of a huge pile of sugar, and some beekeepers lost their bees to it (until Homer was just about to make money off the deal, and then the rain washed the sugar away). So beekeeping is definitely in the Simpsons mix.

I forgot that Seinfeld had Babu, who was Pakistani, but his religion was never brought up.

And in on episode of the Simpsons, Ned made Apu look like a crazy mideasterner while crossing the Canadian border. But I recall no mention of Islam.

And don’t forget Bumblebee Man. And Homer’s classic line about Burns’ dogs, and bees, and dogs with bees in their mouths, and when they bark, they shoot bees at you.

Spina bifida?

From the Halloween episode where Lisa and Bart get sucked into an Itchy and Scratchy cartoon (Treehouse of Horror IX):
Homer (singing and playing harmonica):
Mama took those batteries,
She took 'em away,
Mama took those batteries,
Size double-A.
My own offering: Rampant lesbianism in field hockey.

From the Simpsons episode Mayored to the Mob:

*% At “Leavelle’s Bodyguard Academy”, Homer, with a few other new
% recruits, listens to an address from the academy owner/instructor.

Leavelle: As a bodyguard, your only loyalty is to your protectee. Not
to your family, not to your country, not to Moo-hamad.
Homer: Even during Ramadan?
Leavelle: Shut your sass-hole, boy!*
