Hi folks! Sorry I couldn’t enjoy your company more due to being way tired from the train ride. But while I could still sit up I had a great time! It was a treat meeting you all.
Even though it might well qualify as the shortest DopeFest ever, it was fun to meet all of you. And of course, there was Laura…
If nothing else, we learned some lessons for the next time. Like, choose a restaurant that’s quieter than an engine test facility. And not to put the REALLY quiet Dopers at the ends of the table (right xekul?).
Thanks everyone!
I just got back home tonight from Toronto. I had a good time at the Dopefest – I just wish I had been able to stay longer. It was fun to meet some Dopers in real life. Thanks to Cerowyn for organizing.
I am working on getting my pictures together. I think I managed to remember who everyone is. These are the Dopers who made it:

Did I miss anyone? Anyone want to volunteer to put up a webpage of all four pictures and write some witty commentary?
Sign me up for witty commentary. Although all mine will likely involve sex and/or phallus jokes in some way or another, no matter how obscure the reference…
Hey, that was fun… (you guys can hear that, right?)
I can whip up some HTML for the page, or host it… on a cable modem
I just got back tonight. Sorry I couldn’t stay longer – I was feeling very sick with a cold (be warned). That was the biggest disappointment of my week in Toronto – brand new city with brand new restaurants and an expense account to try them with – and I had no appetite.
Still, the Dopefest was fun and it was great to meet everyone.
