While I much enjoy the various Bricker Trivia Challenge threads, they generally cause me to wander off muttering to myself because I cannot answer more than one or two of the questions. Okay, so he is smarter than I am.

But here, at least, is a trivia challenge, all of whose questions I can answer off the top of my head. So there.

All are welcome to play, of course, and especially, add your own. No prizes beyond the vaguely unsettling realization that you have a head just as stuffed with irrelevancies as I do.

Crap! #4 is from E.E. Smith’s Triplanetary, and my copy is in storage. Was it something like 90 million on Costigan, and 100 million on Virgil Samms? Something like that. Bounty on their heads, anyway.

I was too lazy to go upstairs and look this up, but
thanks to Amazon I didn’t have to.

Not long after dawn, and the first lieutenant didn’t speak to him because the captain liked to spend the first hour of the day lost in thought.
