I am curious about something. Why do you keep fighting? You may be right, you may be wrong. I’ve read your thread over, and I just can’t see why you don’t just walk away if you feel that your detractors have no point. You know that you will change few minds, regardless of how convincing your arguments happen to be. I see that you’re capable of compromise; I don’t suggest you compromise with everyone but this message board is a community. There is room for you here too. Why continue the bad feelings- show everyone how mature and compromiosing you are, and leave this one alone. Post something meaningful somewhere else, and if someone carries this argument there you have made your point.
I’m not condemning you; I don’t even wish to argue. If you took the time to come here you can learn something like everyone else and you can possibly contribute something positive.

I do try to leave (both) threads die and at certain times make it a point not to respond. The original “Kitty” thread was off the page but then someone gets on there and acts like a total ass.
No, make that plural. People get on there and act like one giant collective ass and then take solice in the idea that if their ass is so huge it can’t be wrong. I’m just taking them to the bank on that. If I were indeed being what I were accused of, the thread would’ve been closed by now. I’m treating them the way they’re treating me and they don’t like what they see.

Now I do intend on getting along here with everyone else outside of the PIT. SPOOFE answered a question I had in GQ which might have seemed stupid to him/her but took the time to answer it without making me feel stupid. SPOOFE also told me to fuck off in the PIT. I still believe that he/she would still entertain a question I have in the future and I will still appreciate the answer as if he never told me to fuck off.
I’m not worried about anyone who can’t do that.

Rooves, perhaps reading the boards a bit more, and posting less, would be an advisable strategy for you - at least for now. You come across as awfully confrontational, often merely for the fun of it, or so it seems. That latter part is your problem - you often look like someone who’s spoiling for a fight. Whether you mean this or not, I can’t tell from a couple of posts. But if you keep it up, chances are your life span on these boards will be limited. If that’s not what you want, then take a step back, and a deep breath.

I agree that there is a profound tendency of those “in power” to abuse their authority on this and any other message board. In a recent thread someone told me, unprovoked, to eat dog poop. I told him to eat me and I was reprimanded! I think the mods should stay out unless a thread gets totally out of control, offensive, or breaks the law. If people are posting, people are reading it. Isn’t that the point here? If you don’t like a topic move to another.
