If manipulation of userids is a ‘no-no’ here, than quite a few folks who routinely post in GD/Pit would have been warned/banned many times over. I see it frequently, tho’ I’m not a personal fan of the practice.
re: such manipulation to accuse a person of being a troll, I don’t believe that the admins have said anything but “don’t accuse other posters of being trolls”. w/o any descriptors (as in “don’t do it in French, don’t do it in pig latin, don’t do it in rhyme, rap, or by manipulation of userIds”) so I would presume that that answer would be “no, it’s not ok” but because of the troll accussation part, not because of the userid part.
