ETA: Did gadzookery and stucco ever interact? I miss the old original meaning of a sock-puppet account, when people used to invent friends to come and support them when they were getting piled on in a thread, and they would literally be talking to their sock-puppet.

stucco posted 184 times; gadzookery only posted 18 times over the course of a year. Looking at gadzookery’s posts (my earlier count was cursory) I think I see participation in a total of 9 threads, of which 6 also include posts by stucco. Some of these are on somewhat similar sports topics, but some are completely different topics. Given the frequency of their posting and the number of active threads on the board, I am confident that the probability of this occurring by chance is indistinguishable from zero. Here’s an instance of somebody responding to stucco, and then getting an archetypally socked reply from gadzookery:
