Simply putting them on Ignore works for me. I’m not sure of the exact number but anyone I put on my list, and it’s been very few, typically get banned eventually.

Today I learned we still haven’t reduced edit times, and that not only did the world not end, it was mostly unnoticed…
If some of us have the privilege of long edit times, it must be selective on some basis, as I’m not one of them. I can’t edit anything after five minutes.

*For the record, ZPG_Zealot later edited that post to remove some of the most inflammatory statements. However, she did not do so until 17 hours after the original post was made. Since under former board standards she would only have had five minutes to make such a change, I have restored the post.
Now I’ve learned that I don’t know what is going on! Also, you apparently can’t quote closed threads with the nifty popup feature…
I wonder if I don’t refresh the page after creating a post, is the edit icon still active after 5 minutes? A test is now in progress - check back here in 10 minutes.
No dice. The edit icon was still there, but when I tried to save my edit, I got an error that the post was created too long ago.
