Most of the people I put on ignore before the migration had been banned by the time it happened, and a few have been banned since. I fully expect the current ignorees to be banned (eventually), but meantime I don’t want to deal with the idiocracy. Engaging with them is pointless since an honest discussion isn’t what they’re looking for. What they want is attention and to get readers angry and frustrated. I ignore them, they don’t get attention, and I don’t have my emotional load added to.
To quote Sgt. Murtaugh, I’m too old for this shit, and that’s what they’re peddling in 3-inch thick shit sandwiches.
I had exactly two on my list when we migrated. One has since been banned and, AFAICT, the other has yet to join us.
I’ve added one since July and fully expect them to take their hyperpartisanship too far at some point. I believe they have at least two recent warnings.
Earnestly protests sockitude - but clearly has a grudge against particular posters that carries over from thread to thread, despite only being here a week. Yeah, obvious trock is obvious. Just wondering whose puppet it is.
According to a new friend to the messageboard, BLM and white supremacists are working together for Communism. Or something.
It doesn’t make any sense, but then it was never intended to. And now the new Grandmaster of Pigeon Chess, having knocked over the pieces and crapped on the board, is fluttering off to claim victory.
Yeah. Apparently black leftists want to overthrow the capitalist state and institute a communist state. Which would be white supremacist, since, according to the OP, communism requires white supremacy to function.
I’m not quite ready to write off our new poster as a troll, though. As I said in that thread, I think there’s a debatable thesis buried in his OP: does communism require some sort of exclusionary ideology (racist, religious, xenophobic) to govern?
He’s just expressed it in a weird, incoherent, illogical way (Maoism is white supremacist? India has white supremacist immigration policies?). I’m willing to give him the benefit of a bit more doubt.
I agree there’s an interesting question there to be discussed. I just don’t think he wants to discuss it. It all looks more like a clumsily-attempted smear of BLM and the left.
And the way he started the thread is a pretty good sign he’s not arguing in good faith.
Reminds me of Allen Drury’s books from the 1960s in which the KKK and the Black Panthers work together (along with the No-Nukers) to turn the government over to the Soviets
