Some of the SDMB posters do hate conservatives and pro-war people, true. But most of us non-conservative anti-war people get along perfectly fine with most of our fellow Dopers on the other side of the political spectrum.
What we all really hate, however, is stupid people, and that’s just what you are. What we dislike most about you is not that you support many of the same conservative views that are defended here far more intelligently and responsibly by posters like John Mace and Martin Hyde and Bricker and Shagnasty and many other conservative Dopers. (Although that doubtless adds to the distaste that our conservative Dopers feel for you, since you’re embarrassing them by proclaiming that you’re on their side.)

What have you posted that in any way challenges the arguments against the Bush administration? All you do is spout one liners about Marxists and kooks, without ever actually making an argument or offering any support for the ridiculous claims you make. You don’t even need to turn off your PC. All you need to do is head over to http://www.nicedoggie.net and make one anti-war post in the comments section of any currently open thread, using the same strident language you’ve used here. Compare the responses you get there to the one’s you’ve received here and then let us know which group, in retrospect, is the most accommodating of dissenting opinions.

There are very few pro-war people on this board, but there are a few. Bricker, Mr. Moto, Shodan, Sam Stone (I think **Sam **is still “pro”) are the more prolific ones that come to mind. But you need to make a better argument than calling someone a liberal pussy if they don’t support the war. The other thing is, we debated the war to death over the last few years, and few people I know of what to go through all that again. There are still heated debates about what to do now, though, and plenty of honest exchange on that. Anytime someone posts “we need to get out now”, there are plenty of folks who show up to counter that argument.
