True advertising slogans?

Everyone knows that most advertising is a bunch of B.S. but what product or slogan do you say “Hey, that is so true”

For me it’s Snickers. Slogan - Snickers really satisfies

I work nights and about 3 or 4 I get hungry but don’t feel like eating. Snickers does the trick.

Anyone else?

Sprite - Obey Your Thirst. I thoroughly repsect Sprite’s advertising campaign. Almost all other drink commercials look so stupid after watching Sprite’s ads.

Also, my local radio station has a motto: “Striving to Suck Less”

Sprite? Hypocrites. “Image is nothing, thirst is everything”. Right. THEN GET THOSE FUCKING ADS OFF MY T.V. SCREEN. Sheesh.

In Dublin cinemas there was a campaign for McDowells “Happy” Ring House ( A jewelers on O’Connell St. ).

The campaigns closing line was “Come in and pick your ring in comfort”

I’d say they would throw you out if you actually tried this . :slight_smile:

I’ve always enjoyed the ads that say, “Nothing works better than [such and such].”

If that’s true, then I should use nothing, right?

I guess you had to be there…

I had a logic course in college and the professor said he could personally vouch for the slogan “When you’re out of Schlitz, you’re out of beer” (that’s a little before my time, but no his). He told us a about a party he threw, and he had a few different beers so everybody could have something they liked. It turned out the Schlitz was so bad that everybody drank it last. Sure enough, when he was out of Schlitz…

The truest advertising slogan belongs to a local radio station, KFI-AM640, more STIMulating talk radio. One of their slogans:

“We spit on the first amendment.”

It’s soooooo true! Go Phil Hendrie! Woohoo! ::laughs his ass off::

Sorry… must… go… sleep… working… 12… hours… today… ::sigh::

I tend to agree.
