Woo-hoo! My first double post!
For the old “pick a number, 1 - 10”, my favorite number is 4. I had some trivia book as a kid that said that most people’s favorite number between one and ten is three, and then seven follows closely in terms of popularity. I decided I needed to have a non-common favorite number, so I went with 4.
Favorite number in general is 11 – which is of course Gilbert Perreault’s jersey number. The entire family uses this. My little brother once made a killing at roulette by playing the French Connection’s jersey numbers.
My lucky number?
It’s the cardinality of the monster group, printed here. When you look at it, you’ll understand why I didn’t want to type it in.

11 - When I first started playing hockey a friend of mine kept calling me Cam, as in Cam Neely. So, I started wearing the ol’ double 1’s.
(I like to think I was called Cam because of playing style, but alas, it was probably just due to facial similarity… and my raging hockey haircut
