She did say they would walk all over him because he’s so weak.
Putin would be sitting in Kyiv with his eyes on the rest of Europe. Starting with Poland. And why don’t you tell the 800,000 Polish Americans right here in Pennsylvania how quickly you would give up for the sake of favor and what you think is a friendship with what is known to be a dictator who would eat you for lunch.
One moment I haven’t seen rehashed too much in this thread (at least post-debate) is when you KNOW she wanted to say “and THIS motherf-r” but at the last possible nanosecond she managed to bite her tongue.
I think that was entirely planned. They knew how popular Biden’s “Would you just shut up, man?” was in 2020, and Obama’s “Ooops, what are my hands doing?” look when he was talking about crowd sizes during the DNC convention were. She was the stand-in for everyone who has ever wanted to call him a fucker to his face. And her delivery was perfect.
Don’t get carried away, between her winning the debate easily and the Taylor Swift endorsement, she will hopefully have moved the key states like the Keystone State the few percentage points she needs. But this election will still be close.
Its Hunter Biden stuff that was included in a Republican Senate Report, but is in reality just a bunch of smoke and mirrors.
Here is a gift link to a Washington Post article about it if you really want to drill down. Even after reading the article I’m not sure what it really was based on.
Putin gave some troll endorsement of Harris the other week so I’m sure that, if she said that, it would have just resulted in Trump talking about how Putin actually loves Harris and fears Trump.
Though I note “more concerned” was a relative measure. I was comparing it to another talking point. (See the rest of my post for details, as I don’t want to risk hijacking this thread.)
At some point he said something like, “Putin said he wants her to be president, and I believe him.” I was wondering if Harris would follow up with something like, “That’s not the first time you fell for a dictator’s lies, and that’s part of the reason why you’re unfit to be president.” But it was probably better that she let it go.
The biggest post-debate polling bump in the last four presidential cycles was for Mitt Romney after the first debate in 2012, which saw him make up an average of 4.6 percentage points against Obama in national polls. Didn’t last.
I just talked to two people about this.
My Condo Association Manager did not watch.
The Association President watched, and “is sorry that neither Party had a good candidate”, although he concedes that Harris did better than Trump.

She should have used that to point out how easily Trump is manipulated. She mentioned that in passing, but here we saw it in action on live TV. “Everybody knew that Putin’s endorsement was a sham, intended to sway stupid people. Everybody but you, that is. This is how easy you are to manipulate. Putin pulled your strings using one sentence spoken on the other side of the planet, and here you are dancing for him on live TV.”
I’m at work. I just yawned and the woman I was talking to asked if I was getting enough sleep. I told her I was up late watching the debate and the aftermath.
