I truly hope he is fine. I want him to be around in November for his political execution.
That and he needs to be in good health for his extended prison stay.
Trump has not tweeted in 15 hours. That is the most significant factor, as to how he is doing.
He needs to be physically stable. It’s okay if he’s in constant agony.

If his symptoms were very mild, wouldn’t he make an appearance on a balcony or something by now?

It could be that he is just depressed and not that sick from Covid19 yet. Not really a good way for him to blame someone else for this. Not a good way to put a spin on it that may backfire on him. And the fact that he most likely exposed his wife to it has to carry a load of guilt. Hell he risked giving it to his kid. All thru purposely ignoring safety precautions.
Perhaps he is feeling God Smacked. Knowing he rolled the dice and lost.

Um, I don’t think that’s a thing with him.
But a gambler that doubles down all of the time and wins and then loses it all can crash pretty hard. This may be a bankruptcy his ass can’t pay off.
Based on his demographic, I suspect he’ll be one of those people who gets COVID, gets sick, recovers, and then has a lingering sense of malaise for the rest of his life. I don’t know if it will cause him to take the virus more seriously or not. But I hope it does. He may be already be responsible for thousands of deaths but there’s still an opportunity to intervene and prevent more casualties.
I guess my point is the only people he has ever shown any resemblance of human emotional attachment is his immediate family (not nieces of course). And now he has directly damaged them by his own foolhardiness. Has Ivanka and Jared been tested yet?
If they have to invoke the 25th Amendment I wonder if it will be because Trump does it proactively, or, whether due to his ego or rapid progression it will be up to Pence and the Cabinet.
My father is not a Trump supporter, but he’s fairly typical for his demographic–70-something American male who thinks he’s invisible. He was never that worried about COVID before this summer. He only wore masks out in public if my mother nagged at him.
He spent nine days in the hospital with COVID. Ever since, he’s been telling everyone he knows that COVID is no joke. He just got the flu shot for the first time in his life because he doesn’t want to tangle with Mother Nature again. Even though he should have some degree of immunity, he is religious about wearing a mask now because he knows that some people won’t wear masks unless everyone wears them. And he wants to be the “everyone”.
I doubt Trump will have a turn-around like this. But it is possible that the people in his circle who get seriously ill will. If they manage to get on the other side healthy enough to speak about their experience, they may make Trump’s “happy” talk all the more jarring.
