By 7:30, I had heard the news from three sources, and I don’t even own a TV or do FB.
I went upstairs to tell my SO, and he had already heard about it from two other sources. And someone was going home after having played table tennis in another building on the property, and that guy shouted the news up to us in the house as he was walking by.
I’m guessing that the only people in America who didn’t get the news within 30 minutes of Trump’s tweet were the ones already sleeping. It was pretty amazing.

This has gone very quickly- from healthy to hospital in under a week, from positive test to admitted to hospital in what, 20 hours? I’m not one to bet, but there’s a good shot he doesn’t see Monday.

I just remembered the season opener of SNL tomorrow was supposed to have Baldwin as Trump and Jim Carrey as Biden. Was looking forward to it (Chris Rock is hosting ) . Bet they are furiously rewriting now
That article is nuts in the extreme. It’s hard to say what the nutsiest part is. There’s this:

(my bold-- and leaving aside for the moment “MAGA life coach” Whaaa?) and then there’s also this:
QAnon is a set of online-based beliefs that, at its core, claims a top tier of Satan-worshiping elites are running a secret pedophile ring out of Washington, D.C., and that Trump is the vanguard of an upcoming “Storm” that will lead to mass arrests and executions of these officials.
And on Friday, according to various QAnon theorists, Trump had left a secret message to his followers in his announcement on Twitter that he had tested positive for Covid-19. Some suggested that his use of the word “together” was, in fact, code for “to get her,” a reference to attacks on his 2016 rival, Hillary Clinton. Others thought Trump’s quarantining was part of a broader plan to isolate the president from potential violence associated with the upcoming election.
That because Trump is a pathological liar (the accurate part of the theory), he actually doesn’t have the virus at all, and is claiming to have it as part of some sort of nefarious plan. There’s plenty of examples of it here and elsewhere.
None of those things rise to the level of right wing conspiracy theories. They’re rarely taken seriously at all, and when it comes to pathological liars it’s necessary to consider even such outlandish ideas before rejecting them. This is nothing like the right wing conspiracies. It is a false equivalence, just like recently when the CNN website made a story out of one inaccuracy in a Biden speech as if it were the same as the numerous intentional provable lies that come from Trump ceaselessly.

Pence stomps Biden in the election. The populace of never-Trumpers are relieved to be dealing with a ‘normal politician’ unencumbered by rape allegations and isnt propped up with a pharmacy, string and chewing gum.
Biden stomps Trump. The only thing Trump had going for him was he was a populist and his base enjoyed his 'common man, salt of the earth" ( You mean, morons?) approach. They wont vote for Pence.
People on the left who give Trump any credit as a strategist are just as dumb as people on the right doing the same thing, even if they’re not as evil.
