Trump and Melania test positive for COVID-19

  Oh, you are hilarious! <wipes tears of laughter from eyes> That one will be hard to beat!

This would be my first choice.

Concession speech? Trump ain’t makin’ no stinkin’ concession speech. His last words will be, “I win!”

Yup. He’ll say the election was rigged, and will fight tooth and nail for the next two months to stay in office.

The irony is it is rigged, as was 2016. Rigged by him the GOP and his Russian ‘friends’

More “evidence” for idiots who say it doesn’t matter if masks are worn because anyone can get it anwyay, I have to believe many more will take it as yet another reason to take COVID seriously.

Sadly, I think that’s optimistic. Until and unless a truly high-profile individual dies, or at least is visibly and severely compromised after a bout of Covid, people who don’t want to take the virus seriously will say, “See - all those cases of Covid, and all that quarantining … and in the end everyone is just fine. It was stupid to disrupt operations, the virus doesn’t have any long-term impact. So what if people catch it, if they are asymptomatic or have only mild symptoms and get over it?”

Maybe true, but it only takes a few thousand people in a few states to make the difference.

Now that Trump is back in the White House, has anybody seen what the White House housekeeping staff are doing for protection? Are they volunteering to stay and help? Melania is there and also sick so they have at least two patients to tend. How are they handling everything?

Maybe this will make you feel a little better:

Trump sees them as just the help (even lower than his paid off porn stars) and has most likely had them sign non-disclosure agreements long ago to prevent them from talking about anything going on at the White House, including and especially horrible treatment that exposes them to disease. This has long been his MO, take a job with me and sign away your rights to complain.

No, I think they’ll say what they are saying, namely, “If those Special, Anointed by the Hand of God, High-Up Muckety-Mucks can get it, what hope do the rest of us poor schmucks have? Forget masks, forget distancing, open the bars and let’s just take our chances, since we’re doomed anyway!” Or something along those lines.

I think we’re both right. Never mind that there is an inherent contradiction between your characterization and mine; inconsistency and illogical thinking are in good supply these days. Oh and also, it’s all a hoax.

“Fake” President-elect Biden is trying to form a transition team. THERE WILL BE NO TRANSITION! The dems rigged election will be canceled! KEEP AMERICA GREAT!

This is probably the very definition of hearsay, but the Drudge Report is linking to an article about Claudia Conway’s Tik Tok account:

The headline on Drudge says that she claims Trump is much sicker than what the White House is letting on. However, the article he posted to really doesn’t say that. Claudia has been somewhat of a reliable source spouting her Mom’s secrets, including that she had Covid. Take it with a grain of salt, but it seems somewhat plausible.

It is beyond plausible that Trump is sicker than the WH claims – it is a virtual certainty. The only point for debate at this stage is whether his symptoms recur so severely (this tends to happen within 7-10 days of onset) that he has to return to the hospital. In which case, good luck spinning that story.

I dunno about that article but she’s been all over tiktok claiming he is a lot sicker than they are letting on.

Whew.

I don’t know, that girl’s smirk takes away from her credibility a touch.

I endorse all of the above.

Perhaps (probably) because I have a very similar daughter, Claudia Conway is easily my ‘most fascinating’ person in all this.

From back in July:

Conway is every other teenage girl on social media: pouting for the camera, messing with her hair, shaking her butt in tiny gym shorts, mouthing off to rude commenters, posting a line or two about the political topic du jour, calling Trump a “r@pi$t.” As one would expect from the social media postings of an average 15-year-old, they contain no sophisticated political commentary or ambitious acts of civil disobedience.
