I hope Trump recovers, with complications bad enough to require regular healthcare – for which he can’t get insurance coverage upon leaving office due to the complications being preexisting conditions.
I also hope Trump recovers. I hope he recovers and people see him looking like lethargic, lacking an ounce of the cocky energy he had before entering the hospital. I want his supporters to see that.

Whether Trump comes back or not is unknown (I’m guessing he will, but you never know). In any case, though, I’m fairly certain that there is already a healthy debate about whether he should come back - which is a good thing. That debate, that divide, only intensifies the longer he stays out of sight.
Oh, yes, I remember the weeks and weeks of the daily medical bulletins about Generalísimo Franco’s health, the worn out suffering, the extirpation of two 3rds of his stomach, the gradual inflamations, the peritonitis, the renal disfunction, uremia and final renal collapse, the multiple organ failure and the septic shock leading to death. Yes, those are the things you remember 45 (!) years later.
Would His Mikeness Pence also read the death bulletin on TV, sobbing like Carlos Arias Navarro did, Franco’s last President of the Government? Who else among his aQolites would want to read that statement? Would they want to read it for posterity or would they want to avoid being the one to read it?
