More like being a highly skilled tool and diemaker who understands money. If you can program and run a CNC mill and work to .001” tolerances you can make 35$ an hour too.

My deal is that I saw someone with an ignorant idea about rich people and insurance so I tried to inform them about how the world actually works.

My family owned a business where I did tool and die work. We sold the company for an eight figure price, that was split between seven people. Sounds good but we also had over ten million in debt. I did Ok.

I’m glad things worked out for you but this is not a scenario in which you were “wildly successful in business”. I’m sure you are a skilled machinist and I admire people who are good with their hands. But with respect to whatever financial success you may have achieved, much like Trump, you were simply born lucky.

I imagine Trump is not really happy about being in the hospital with tests and IVs and machines. But I’m sure he loves getting to watch cable news constantly because they are all talking about him nonstop. Still, it must be somewhat uncomfortable because they are talking about whether he is going to die and what happens if he does. Hate it for him.
