Yesterday I read an article wherein a psychologist said that it looks to him as if Trump has frontotemporal dementia. (I can’t find it now.) The psychologist pointed to the video of Trump walking on the red carpet at his Alaska meeting, saying that Trump is exhibiting a symptom of the disease. Something about Trump moving his right leg in a circular gait, causing him to veer left. Trump over-corrects, and goes to the right edge of the carpet. I’ve only seen the sped-up video of Trump taking the up whole width of the carpet, and I couldn’t see what the psychologist was seeing.
Anyway, I looked up frontotemporal dementia. According to the AI result, ‘Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) itself isn’t directly fatal, but it shortens lifespan, with average survival from symptom onset ranging from 6 to 13 years, though this varies considerably.’
Let’s suppose that FTD is what makes Trump so loony. How many years ago did it start presenting? During his first presidency? After he lost the 2020 election?
