Hell, I feel like they’re practically doing that now.
Only if Bernie could still talk.
The brain dead part is consistent.
I see that Zelensky of Ukraine has been officially nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (along with the Ukrainian people). Should he win, it may cause iDJiT to keel over from apoplexy
China, famously, has a 1,000±capacity public restroom (called the Porcelain Palace).
I say we create the largest Outdoor Relief Station on and around the fallen Trump statue. Or if he never manages to build it (so it can’t be pulled down), we could establish the outside of The Ballroom as a target for urination. (Men could manage it ‘as is’ and women could use those ‘pee funnels’ that many employ when camping.)
This application of barrels-worth of urine would act to weaken the structure, making its ultimate demolition that much easier.
And if that’s not built, there’s always Mar-a-Lago as a pisspot. Classified documents not included, though.
Sure, but Mar-a-Lago doesn’t deserve to be pissed on, other than by association with Donald-the-Despicable. It could go on to have an honorable life post-DtD.
Of course it will take a long time to get that smell out. (not the urine)
Considering everything, it’s going to be a very long time before anyone who’s not MAGA will want the place. Something like a century.
There’s always locked-in syndrome.
Back when bin Laden was at large there was a thread on what to do with him if he was captured alive. I suggested digging an oubliette at ground zero, dropping him in, and placing a pissoire atop it.
For at least the first few years his kids will make a fortune by jacking up the fees and renting it out to MAGA people for their MAGA weddings and other MAGA events. I’m guessing that eventually the novelty will wear off and they’ll sell the property to someone that will rebrand it. So far as I’m concerned, if a middle class MAGA family wants to spend their life savings, and then some, to host a one day event at Mar a Lago so the Trump kids can line their pockets with a meaningless, to them, amount of money, I say, go for it.
It’s just a piece of property, i don’t really care. But I’d love to see a major hurricane knock out down before Trump dies.
And on that day I will happily wear a suit and say thank you.
Hard time believing that whoever submitted that nomination was not doing so mostly to troll Putin (and Donald as secondary).
It’ll become Graceland for MAGAites.
Mar-a-Lago is a National Historic Place. Which involves all sorts of difficulties in changing the facilities or repurposing the property.
All details that trump has doubtless ignored since he bought the place in 1985 40 years(!) ago. But in any post-trump world where federal regulations are still standing those regs will be a real obstacle to anyone wanting to use this white elephant for anything.
Mar-a-Lago is a National Historic Place. Which involves all sorts of difficulties in changing the facilities or repurposing the property.
Maybe. As per this cite from the National Park Service:
Under Federal Law, the listing of a property in the National Register places no restrictions on what a non-federal owner may do with their property up to and including destruction, unless the property is involved in a project that receives Federal assistance, usually funding or licensing/permitting.

We recommend you, or the property owner contact the State historic preservation office (SHPO) before an action with a listed property is taken. The SHPO is the state agency that oversees historic preservation efforts in their state. You can find contact information for the SHPOs here.
Soldier Field, a sports stadium in downtown Chicago, had been listed as a National Historic Landmark (a subset of National Historic Places). When the Chicago Bears (the stadium’s primary tenant) and the Chicago Park District (which owns and operates it) conducted a major renovation in 2002-3, which removed most of the stadium’s original structure (really only leaving the colonnades), it wound up getting de-listed as a NHL, but there was no law preventing them from doing the renovation.
Hmm. Thanks for the correction.
I know there is a category of registered whatever building or grounds that is quite restricted. And as you cite, Mar-a-lago is not that.
Now to find out what that category is and some examples of things it applies to.
And on that day I will happily wear a suit and say thank you.
I will put up our American flag if he gets impeached. At this time, the US is failing miserably.
It’ll become Graceland for MAGAites.
If they bury him in the backyard (the way Elvis is buried at Graceland), it won’t be just MAGAites who show up. As we’ve discussed many times, it will become a magnet for the full-bladdered.
I think the term “bladder magnet” is a good, general insult for a person.
