Anybody else thinking of the stair lift scene in Gremlins?
In fact, forget the staircase!
I hate having to root for the other team.
Anytime anyone ever mentions a stair lift, my mind goes to Gremlins.
I’m pretty sure seeing that movie as a kid was the first time I’d seen a stair lift depicted.
As I look at Donnie and Melania, I’m wondering- does she have an abattoir on speed dial? She clearly would rather be with almost anyone else in the world except him.
I was thinking if we could jam the axle through his middle I could get behind that.

I checked it with Google Lens and there’s no suggestion that it’s faked.
The kid’s expression of distress may not be due to knowledge of Donald’s record with minor girls----it could be due to the stench.
It is not.
I also saw the signs of distortion caused by AI fakery. Specifically the way that Eric and Lara’s faces are twisted. Someone took a photo or video screenshot of his arrival in China and added the girl. Here is a legitimate image from the visit, and all of the elements are there.
If you watch the real video of his arrival, you see everything from his coming down from the plane to his getting into the car. He never picks up a girl at any point. There was a girl in a red dress that handed him a flower bouquet, but she looks different than the one in the photo, and he never picks her up.
The girl who was digitally added also is lit very differently than every other part of that photo.

The AI even altered the shoes of the girl in the red dress for some reason, giving her weird heels.
That amazes me. What in the algorithm drives that?
And will AI one day demand we all wear different shoes, whether they fit or not, just like trump and his staff?
While Trump’s ongoing physical and mental decrepitude are genuinely of concern, a 79-year-old being careful going down stairs shouldn’t be a source of mockery.
At least he doesn’t wear stiletto heels.*

Trump can barely walk down stairs, can’t walk in a straight line, and has to hold his water with two hands. We should have known he couldn’t pick up a little girl.
I’d normally be in agreement. But he’s mocked others, including Biden, for various infirmities over the years some of which were age based. Fuck Trump. He’s earned his respect.
At least Joe the President had the grace to bow out of the race, even though his health was never as shaky as this.
After all his “Sleepy Joe Biden” comments, Trump deserves to be unmercifully mocked for continually falling asleep at public events.
It’d be great to have reporters ask Trump why he keeps up the “Sleepy Joe” routine when he can’t keep his own eyes open.
I feel like concern for Trump is 100% about emasculation and 0% about actual sympathy.
I don’t think it looks remotely real. Also, Eric and Lara look like future victims from The Ring
