But if I may suggest a realistic medical issue:
The bruise on his hand seems similar to bruises I have seen on people who take blood thinner medicine.
Has anybody else noticed this?
With blood thinners, any small bump leaves a bruise. But it seems like a person appearing in public could easily cover up the bruise with a little make up.
This is my hand today after getting an IV stick last Wednesday. He is definitely getting some meds by IV. This was the first time I’ve had one in my hand and I can’t believe how discolored it still is. No makeup for me though.
When my mother was old, she bruised very easily. She has marks like that all the time. Even when she stopped taking blood thinners. Even when she wasn’t getting IV drugs. Her skin was just fragile.
That fragility had nothing to do with what ultimately killed her.
Yes, the guy is old. Yes, he’s in bad shape on lots of ways, including cognitively. Maybe he’s at deaths door. But i don’t think we have any real evidence for it.
(I’m told that Google AI will not speculate on the cognitive health of our current president, by the way.)
Trump’s brain will go/is going/has gone long before the rest of him. Crisis stage within two years, with half of the administration sycophants trying to cover for him like Woodrow Wilson’s wife did for Wilson after his stroke, and the other half greedily snatching at extra bits of power.
I fear the extremism would grow even more if Trump dies, as each candidate to the MAGA throne competes with the others to show he (and it will be a he) is the true heir.
