As my wife is an RN, my attention is often called to someone on TV when she says a person looks ‘gaunt’.
He hasn’t reached “gaunt”. And i thought he was taking glp-1 medications? Or did i just hallucinate that?
But yes, weight loss in the elderly is often a bad sign.
Maybe you were remembering stories that talked about Trump reaching a deal with manufacturers to lower the price of GLP-1 drugs. I can’t see any reputable source claiming that he’s taking them.
Well, he’s definitely lost weight over the last few years (although he seems to be gaining some back recently), so that I assumed he was on one of those drugs. And he wouldn’t specifically say it because it would make him look weak or imply he needed to lose weight. But he’s mentioned “the fat shot” a number of times this year, so it emphasized for me he’s taking (or has taken) it. Why else would he know what it is? He only knows about things that pertain to himself.
He could be taking it, I just don’t think it has ever definitively came out that he did. That was the (at least implied) question I was answering; whether or not it was reliably reported that he was, and as far as I can tell, it wasn’t.
Oh, yeah, just conjecture at this point.
They might bundle in the shot with one of his diaper changes.
How did he know it was a shot and not a pill? And we know he’s not losing weight with diet/exercise.
Well, there were claims that Melania changed his diet, which helped him lose 30 pounds.
But I can’t imagine Trump ever listening to his wife about anything, especially denying him something he wants, or having any sort of self-discipline. So he’s either on the shot, or having health problems that are being hidden. I think either is plausible.
Pfffft on Melanie influencing his diet. Has he actually been seen eating lots of healthy food? And we all know what he thinks about exercise.
