Trump is dying

“Oh, that was the floor buffer cord? Oops.”

You’ve got to plug in the vacuum cleaner somewhere!

Boy, what a trust test… but, she IS the spouse.

And we know it would devolve anyway into a battle royal between all the immediate family members if it came to that. He’d be the kind to NOT have signed an Advance Directive.

There’s a great Kids In The Hall sketch where a family member ‘accidentally’ trips over the plug and Dave Foley comes out of his coma and starts accusing the family member of trying to kill him. (If anyone remembers that sketch and can find a video of it, please post a link.)

I don’t have a link to that sketch, nor do I have a link to the John Belushi/Bill Murray sketch from SNL which sounds like the same exact thing, which I remember quite distinctly.

Dang, I would have sworn it was KITH. But you are correct. It was SNL Season 2, Episode 14. (I don’t have Instagram either, but you can still watch it.)

This is one of the reasons my wife and I moved. One of the guest rooms has an in suite bathroom. We are still with it, but see sails on the horizon, writing on the wall.

We did get electric bicycles and I’m having a hard time with balance on mine. It’s an odd creature. The balance it self is odd being top heavy as shit. And I’m fighting it. It’s strange because I used to be great on a dirt bike.

HANDWATCH ‘26; the discoloration is now taking up most of the back of his hand

Will there be a monkey scrambling like crazy to put the plug back in…?

That’s one of the earliest jokes I heard.

Given that he is so ‘Hitler-esque’ it seemed time appropriate.

Hm. The one I heard as a kid involved an elephant, and a monkey with a cork. No idea what the Hitler one is.

It’s 1940s… like Rump’s ideology. Don’t think too much about it. None of his people do.

Today in WaPo.

Spoiler: don’t get your hopes up.

Armed man shot and killed inside Mar-a-Lago perimeter, Secret Service says

The Secret Service said the man was observed carrying “what appeared to be a shotgun and a fuel can.”

U.S. Secret Service agents and a Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputy shot and killed a man who entered the secure perimeter of President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate early Sunday morning, the Secret Service said in a statement.

Trump was not at Mar-a-Lago this weekend.

:woman_shrugging:t4:

Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw told reporters Sunday morning that the individual, identified as a White man in his early 20s, was carrying a gas canister and a shotgun.

According to Bradshaw, the officers confronted the man around 1:30 a.m. and ordered him to put down the gas canister and the gun. He put down the canister and “raised the shotgun to a shooting position,” Bradshaw said.

“At that point in time, the deputy and the two Secret Service agents fired their weapons” and shot and killed the man, who died at the scene, Bradshaw said.

Welp. He had gumption.

I thought that too. I’ve been surprised that something like this doesn’t happen more often.

He seems to have been kinda stupid. Attempting arson when his presumed target wasn’t even there?

Imagine how much tech there must be at that location. Pressure sensors, cameras, infra-red, laser trip wires etc. etc.. Any assault on Maralago is essentially a suicide mission. Maybe the idiot thought Trump goes there every weekend.

I would imagine there is an order of magnitude more Secret Service presence when Trump is there. If his goal was arson, waiting until Trump wasn’t home would be a better time to try it although it is absurd to assume any of his properties aren’t being guarded (at significant taxpayer expense) at all times.

It seems to me to be a weird combination of weapons. If you just want to do arson, a shotgun is just going to get in the way of carrying your equipment rather than say a pistol. I can think of worse weapons to use if your goal is assassination, but if you’re doing it specifically when the pres is absent, killing a few mar a lago workers isn’t going to accomplish anything.

Unless he mistakenly thought that T would probably be there, but had arson as a backup plan.
