I tend to agree. But the speaker was definitely trying to sound like Trump (and succeeding better than most would). And of course choosing “John Barron” was intended to convince people that it was Donald himself.
Given all that I’m surprised the person didn’t say something more pointed and attention-getting. Though maybe he was just trying to promote his services as an imitator…
