Trump is Made Chair of the Kennedy Center

Why this takes more than two days, a rented lift and some crowbars is a puzzle.

Get it off. Send the letters to Trump everything but the T.

How are the letters attached? Bolted on? Glued? Hyper-mega-super-duper-glued?

Hard to imagine the letters can be removed without leaving holes, or stains or residue or some kind of defacement.

All of which would be an improvement on “TRUMP”.

The stain is what’s being removed.

Exactly. And if there are holes left behind, I think we should leave them as just another testament to the mess Trump has created. We can fill/fix them when he is gone. He can watch from prison.

There should be a yuge party when they are removed.

And bill him for it.

If you go to London and visit the Victoria and Albert museum, you can see bomb damaged that was left as a reminder of the terrible times it survived…

Thanks for that. Last I checked, nearly a week ago, it was still “Trump and Kennedy Center”. Now the misappropriated Trump name has disappeared. There is at least some small justice in the world!

Sadly the stain will be there a while.

I think Ellen Degeneres gave Trump a tiny chandelier to hang in Barrons stroller. Trump, of course, did not get it.

The board of the Kennedy Center is appealing the ruling requiring the removal of Trump’s name from it.

There’s a livestream from a Kennedy Center street cam. Looks like some scaffolding has gone up.

I wonder if they have been told to stretch this out for as long as possible to give the Trumpboard a last minute chance to throw sand in the engine of the law?

When I see Trump sycophants do outrageously pointless things like this, I’m assuming it’s to curry favor or avoid his wrath. These people have no self-respect.

On the live feed, they put the scaffolding up…then left it there.

I saw a video showing three guys on the top of the scaffolding, three or four guys, one on each level of the scaffolding, and three guys on the ground. It’s much more efficient if you spread the work out over ten guys.

How efficient is it to build the scaffolding then step away from it? This is a case of nobody doing the job, not too many people doing the job.

I am no scaffolding expert, but a couple times I’ve been involved in a project that required scaffolding to be set up, the crew that delivers and assembles it all is not the same team that actually does whatever work.

Thank you. That might be what is happening.

Are the people on the scafolding armed? All you need is one man lift. This is a delaying tactic for sure.
