One thing I like about the livestream is that they’re also posting updates. When I looked just now, it stated that the request for a stay on the name removal order had been denied.

If the workers don’t show up until tomorrow (or later), and there are no armed guards, I think an “accident” will happen to the scaffolding.
I wonder why they needed all that scaffolding. Perfect job for a simple scissor lift. Two guys tops and no set and tear down.

Looks like a crowd is gathering. And some folks with safety vests came back. The scaffolding is wrong for this project. Doesn’t surprise me in the least.

There are at least 12 guys there, and they appear to be working on the scaffolding itself. The scaffolding makes no sense as there’s not enough of it on the left side to reach the leftmost letters, and there’s too much being built on the right-hand side. The whole thing looks fishy to me. Maybe it’s just there as a defense against actual workers who might come by to remove the letters!
