So when you do select a video, I’d like you to also highlight the parts that you feel bolster your conviction, by indicating the exact times (for example…@1:54 - Assad said this wonderful bon mot) whenever they appear in the video, alright?
Don’t you believe in backing what you say? Folks have already posted examples here of Assad doing really bad, right? Now it’s your turn to provide a counterexample, with notes. Don’t you want to be taken seriously?

What is absurd are your claims

I think he’s saying Assad is simply putting down a Western backed rebellion. A popular view for the pro-Assad side.
I’ve noticed truthSeeker2’s posts because they seem so divorced from reality. Consistently so. If it’s true he has not had a frontal lobotomy, always possible with this kid, then he is either a troll (my best guess) or he is suffering from some sort of delusional condition. Again, troll is my best guess. We probably should not be feeding him.

Well, truthy, I watched your youtube link. (One should put complete zilcho credence in what ANY youtube commenters have to say, btw.) While Assad certainly didn’t come across like Eddie Shack, I’m wondering how you can reconcile the apparent erudition of the man with this:

Well , that is certainly the lie that Assad has promoted and I can see where someone who wanted to swallow Assad’s line of crap would promote it. It is nonsense, of course. When Assad fils took over for his father, there was a lot of hope that the Western educated son would begin to back off on his father’s brutish ways. There may have been comments to that effect in the Western media, but there was no Western agitation to make it happen. Instead, he ruled with increasing oppressive force for 11 years and as soon as hopeful Syrians began to express desires to mitigate the authoritarian, anti-free press rules in play, Assad reacted against them with violence. The “rebellion” went on for several months before any Western media even called much attention to it. The opposition, facing tanks and attack planes, moved from protests to revolt on the grounds that if they were going to die, they might as well go down fighting.
