Well, there always was the suspicion that the intelligence community was covering up that the USSR had JFK killed and hid the facts in order to not start a third World War with the Soviet Union. My prediction is, the classified documents have very little in them that isn’t already known from other sources, and what they have that is new will just confirm what we already know, Kennedy was shot by a lone gunman.
And the CTists will react in a few ways:
- Denouncing the new files as just more of the cover up
- Claiming this isn’t everything, and demanding release of the “real classified documents”
- Making up fake documents that “prove” their theory, and just claiming that it was part of this release
Yeah, it’s not like suddenly CT folks will become rational human beings just because documents were unclassified.
I’d also add a 4th way they will react… By using something in the documents to create or support a different conspiracy that they claim is still being covered up.

Release the Epstein files, or 9/11 files. None of which he will do since he is implicated with Epstein and the fallout of the 9/11 lies is the only reason why he is president today.

I’ve never really understood the secrecy behind these files, unless it’s to keep the FBI’s techniques a secret. I suppose there could also be names in there of people that were interviewed who are still living.

It’s a definite generational gap, and that makes it a distraction in 2025. Trump is going to spin it as he’s finally letting the truth come out, and that will appeal to the older members of Maga, this feeds into why they like him. They think he is telling the truth.
