Topic is “Fruits that get baked”!
Moral: It’s always possible to find a bizarre false equivalence if you stretch far enough. Even if you’re trying to equate sexually assaulting women with having a consensual affair.
But, of course, it wasn’t the affair. It was the perjury after. Because we all know that, in our system of laws, perjury is a far more serious offense than sexual assault.
You suspect wrong. :dubious:
This has been my experience too.
A bunch of ginned up fake outrage over nothing by a bunch of faux ivory tower fruits. Keep grasping your pearls in feigned shock, ladies.
RenaissanceMan203 this post is completely out of line for this forum. You cannot insult any poster on this board outside the Pit. You are new here, so re-read the rules and user agreement or your time here will be short.
And yes, I am an Ivory Tower Denizen and I do get to decide what is appropriate and what crosses the line in this forum.
The percentage of Americans voting for Trump in a month 40%
The percentage of Americans admitting to have voted for Trump in a few years 4%
Woman checking in…Just no.
Huh, I guess we have to thank Ben Carson for demonstrating to all that being a brilliant surgeon does not mean that an expert on a subject is a genius on everything else.
Clinton Ohio Rally:
The funny part is the assumption, which is still a male fantasy.
It’s like those douchebags on Facebook who post pictures of He-Man all ripped and say ‘tell us more about how woman’s bodies are objectified’. THAT is how men want to look, so yes, women with massive tits are still objectification.
So listen up, assholes. Pick a comic directly consumed my women that chronically puts the male gender in an objectified stereotype and then a discussion can begin.
If is this such "Typical locker room banter " why is Trump losing support from other men?
Considering Grandma Bush’s disgust at Trump, Billy should really find a good excuse to avoid Thanksgiving dinner with the family.
Perhaps a friend in need of moving some bricks from the basement?
I work in a very male-dominated office. I’m the only woman in my department; there are only two other women in the shop area. We’ve all heard extremely graphic “locker room” banter. On the one occasion when I heard this banter drift into a discussion of sexual assault in the form of one guy discussing his “right” to essentially commit marital rape, the guy in question was quickly shut down by his coworkers, who expressed disbelief and disgust.
You already answered your own question. Meny make crass, vulgar, and sexist comments, but they don’t typically brag about assault.
And my cite are the tons and tons of people who say that such comments are not typical locker room talk, some of which have posted here.
My presumption is that this wouldn’t be such a big deal if it really were all that typical. It wouldn’t be treated like some new revelation about Trump.
Was this supposed to be a portmanteau of “many men”? If so, brilliant!
Auntie Barbara, not Grandma. Billy Bush is George HW Bush’s nephew.
Such innocence and naïveté, Richard. ![]()
Of course they are now denying it!
Here’s Kellyanne Conway being quoted by Vox: "Trump’s Campaign Manager: please stop calling Trump’s ‘pussy’ comments ‘sexual assault’ "
She says since Trump didn’t actually use the term "sexual assault, it’s unfair to characterise it that way.
I guess it was just a matter of time, but I’m surprised it took them so long.
Why wouldn’t Giuliani deny that it was sexual assault on the Sunday shows when asked that question, if they were going to go there eventually anyway?
The Answer is Trump’s Razor, of course. But still. SMDH.
i wonder how she would react to some random guy walking up to her, grabbing her genitals amd forcibly kissing her.
Typical misogynist male.
