I’d stay right here, and maybe stick a big sign on my lawn that says “Trump: May he be the president America deserves.”
Looks like Indiana is the place!
I will stay here in Montreal. But if Trump loses, my wife and I are seriously thinking of moving to NYC where our daughter lives. Or Boston where one son lives. Or Seattle where our other son lives.
I’m stayin’ right here in Brooklyn!
And FIGHTIN.’
I’m staying right where I am.
I’m gonna stay right here. I endured eight years of W., I can endure four years of Trump. Assuming that’s all he gets.
Can you hook me up with any job opportunities? We sent my oldest daughter over there for school for this year (Grade 6) and I’ve been wanting to find a way to move over. As a Canadian I can also easily move back up north. More than likely though I’ll probably be stuck trying to survive several more years in Texas.
If anyone wants to join me, there’s plenty of room under my bed.
Regards,
Shodan
He’d better build that wall damn fast, before we get a chance to escape to Mexico.
I’ll stay right where I am, in Canada, and hope there are some sane Americans south of the border that will keep Trump on a short leash.
Needs more options. I know a guy who’ll sponsor me for Australian residence.
Canada!, assuming they’ll have me.
Good luck with that. Canada is going to build a HUGE wall and make the U.S. pay for it.
I was just thinking about this. Not in response to a Trump win, but whether there’s any place but the USA where I could live.
Canada is nice and all, but I won’t go north of Sacramento in winter. Mexico and Central America are nice, but I don’t habla espanol. They speak English in Australia, but my LORD they got some scary creatures down there. Spiders falling from the sky. Nope, nope, nopenopenope.
Guess I’ll stay here.
To paraphrase Michael Bolton, why should I leave? He’s the one who sucks.
Antebellum…?
Hmm. Tahiti sounds lovely.
My husband and I both work for non-US companies. We might find ourselves reviewing our options for bugging out, depending on how bad it gets. Sigh. For now the plan is to stay and try and limit the damage.
Some people said the same thing when Bush was elected, and others said it when Obama was elected. For the most part, it never happened.
How are you any different?

Um, assume you have a real nasty disease and your only insurance is the ACA. That may influence your decision.
Um, what? The ACA has only existed for roughly five years. Hundreds of millions of people have lived without it.
How would a Trump presidency cause someone to move, because of the ACA?
You would not believe the effort and expense we made in picking up and moving from Thailand to Hawaii. There’s no way we’re going through that again anytime soon. We’re here come what may.
