Talk about petty. Is Trump going to use the power of the Presidency to demand that stores validate parking for his kids next?

Sic semper tonsor

What does this have to do with Donald Trump?

This is why Trump is the worst President of all time.

She was the receptacle for his penis at one point, and you must admit that trying to get free shit in exchange for some nebulous “exposure” is a total Trump move (except he’d renegotiate it after getting the haircut).

Is she not getting alimony?

Prenup, I’d assume.

He doesn’t understand hair-styling either.

I hope he doesn’t pay for that!

MM seemed like such a class act on Dancing with the Stars. Not sure I’m ready to believe this until I hear her side of the story.

I’ll have you know Mr Trump has the best flowbee

You mean when she holds that press conference to announce to the world that she tried to extort services for herself and her daughter in the name of a man she is no longer married to, and then brilliantly pulled out the “accustomed lifestyle” card when that didn’t work?

We’re all going to be completely outraged at this humiliating mistreatment of American Royalty by one of the little people, I’m sure.

Child support runs out this year, since Tiffany is out of college.

Oh, I don’t know. There won’t be a press conference, but maybe she’ll be asked about it sometime. Also, for the OP’s own cite (may not be such an odd thing for her to do anyway):

It’s not standard practice to say “You are messing with the president of the United States” if the stylist refuses, though.

Child support is not alimony.

IIRC, Nancy Reagan got in hot water for accepting free designer clothes when she was First Lady. So this sort of thing has a precedent.

If we’re going to judge guys by the bad behavior of their exes, I won’t survive a day.

Yeah, I have no particular love or admiration for any Trump family member I’ve ever heard of, and this incident seems to me very typical of “Trump family values”, but I draw the line at actually blaming it on the President-elect or any other individual(s) except the ones directly involved.

Good g-d, I have enough trouble being responsible for my own behavior let alone hers.

Marla is the ex-wife. She can receive gifts without issue. Melania, not so much.

ricksummon: You’ll note in the article that it wasn’t Marla Maples who said that. Maybe she condoned and maybe she didn’t-- we don’t know.
