try this NYE drink I concocted

I made it up at my friend’s house, and I’m not a drinker, they all liked it a lot, make one and tell me what you think…

4oz Absolute Mandarin, 2oz Bacardi O, 1oz Triple Sec, 2oz sprite, splash grenadine, served on the rocks

7 shots of hooch with 2 shots of sprite and a splash of grenadine? And you’re surprised she got a bit tipsy? Although I will probably make one when I get home now. I’ll let you know how it all turns out, or should I say, comes up.

Wow, I can’t try it right now (preggers) but I can tell you that I would absolutely love that drink. Good show!

I’d want it with a ridiculously ornate skewer-cum-toothpick with two cherries, two orange slices, a piece of pineapple and two pineapple leaves gracing the top.

And crushed ice.

I’m not the other SDMB member mentioned, but I did get pretty plastered off those things on NYE. Couple of them, and the sangria, and the mojitos, and the martinis… then it all gets kinda blurry. They’re sneaky, because the grenadine, Sprite, and Triple Sec kinda hide how boozy they actually are.

Oh, and we weren’t surprised she got so drunk[sup]1[/sup]. She gets drunk[sup]2[/sup] off one margarita.

Hey, that sounds pretty good! If I wasn’t missing all of the basic ingredients I might whip one up.

Here’s a drink I invented on New Year’s Eve:

Absinthe Avalanche
-absinthe
-lime sherbert
-pistachios, crushed
-fresh mint*
-pinch of dried wasabe (optional)

Ok, so I was incredibly drunk when I thought of it and haven’t tried it out yet. If anyone’s feeling enterprising let me know how it turns out.
